BUSINESS WORKS GOLD by
SAGE - This is a modular
based product sold by Authorized Resellers only. Pervasive based as well,
single user as well as multi-user client server version with Terminal
Services included. Best has allowed 3rd party Industry Specific products
to access Business Works Gold in order to better service the clients. Some
of these products include but are not limited to Auto Body Shop, Point of
Sale, Contact Management, and Restaurant Inventory. Business Works is a
real time posting package that allows the inventory, for example, to show
accurate on hand quantities at all times. Inventory is available from
multiple warehouses, can be manufactured from raw materials into a
finished good. Quotes can be created and converted into Sales Orders that
can then be converted into Invoices at the time of shipment.
You also have the opportunity to go directly to invoicing and invoice on
the fly as you can see in the screenshot to your right.
Peachtree by SAGE - Peachtree comes in 9 flavors and is now in an SQL database product which allows the user to have greater flexibility with regards to history kept, concurrent users, and report writing. The new 2007 Quantum allows for up to 10 concurrent users and includes all flavors of the Peachtree line. There is a Manufacturing version, a Distribution version, a Construction version, and a Non-Profit version, to name a few. We are happy to include the Peachtree line in our inventory of products.
MYOB by MYOB, INC. - This product is priced to
sell. The single user version can actually be purchased at most software
superstores. The multi-user version must be purchased via a reseller. This
product is one of the few accounting software packages to be available for
both the Windows, and the MAC platform. This can be very useful to users
that have CPA’s on the Windows platforms while they require the MAC. There
is bridge called STUFFIT™. STUFFIT allows the data to cross back and forth
between platforms. MYOB offers a simple General Ledger with preformatted
Financial Reports. It also includes Accounts Payable vendor tracking,
check writing, 1099 tracking, expense reimbursement tracking and
allocation to jobs and customer invoices. Customer Accounts Receivable,
Bank Reconciliation, Inventory Control with Purchase Orders and Parts
costing. There is a low level manufacturing process included as well. Time
& Billing tracking has been added, as you can see from the screenshot
to your right, for the service industries that attaches
directly to the invoicing information. Forms can be customized and you can
include your own logo on Invoices, Purchase Orders, etc as well.
21ST CENTURY by HILBERT SOFTWARE - This product
offers the best General Ledger Chart of Accounts, as you can see from the
screenshot to your right, for the price we have
ever seen. It is expandable to just about any number of characters you
need. It is divided into 3 basic levels – Division – Account – Department.
This allows your company to report in so many ways it is incredible. For
example, if you have multiple locations and then need to see multiple
profit centers within each location, this could be the product for you.
The product is Pervasive based and uses Crystal Reports for additional
custom reports. It is a Batch system, which allows the user to review
their data before they post to the General Ledger. Thirteen fiscal periods
are available if desired with as many years of history as you choose to
keep. You have the opportunity to keep multiple periods as well as years
open and/or locked until you choose to close them. This package has a nice
payroll module as well.
QuickBooks - Helps you save time on bookkeeping
and paperwork and get back to business. Simplifies all your
accounting tasks – like paying bills, invoicing customers and tracking
expenses. It Enables you to easily track who owes you money and what
bills you need to pay and enables you to organize all your financial
information in one place so you can quickly and easily find the
information you need. With Quickbooks, you can instantly generate
reports with the information you need, so you always know where your
business stands. Quickbooks includes a simplified bank
reconciliation that allows you to input bank charges and interest without
leaving the bank reconciliation , as you can see from the screenshot to
Shipping Software is the one program that can completely automate your
shipping process. StarShip can be linked to your orders for fast,
error-free shipment processing. Used as a TSR (pop-up program), StarShip
gets shipping information directly from the Order Entry screen. It
calculates freight charges, prints labels and tags, then automatically
writes the charges to your order when the shipment is saved.
