StarShip Advanced Shipping Software is the one program that can completely automate your shipping process. StarShip can be linked to your orders for fast, error-free shipment processing. Used as a TSR (pop-up program), StarShip gets shipping information directly from the Order Entry screen. It calculates freight charges, prints labels and tags, then automatically writes the charges to your order when the shipment is saved.

Click on the tabs to update the screen.

Reference Tab:
The Reference tab displays information related to the shipment. P.O. Number is automatically populated and uploaded as a reference field to UPS. This allows recipients to track inbound packages using their P.O. number.

Sender Tab:
The Sender tab shows your company information, which appears as the return address on your shipping labels. If you wish to have different sender information printed on the return address, you can easily add a new Sender record by clicking on the "..." button.

Recipient Tab:
The Recipient tab shows the customer and address information of the person or company receiving the current shipment. When you call up an order in StarShip, this information is instantly populated! Or, if you manually enter a recipient's information, StarShip automatically saves it to your Customer List.

Service Tab:
This tab displays, and allows you to select, package information, such as carrier and service, for the current package. It shows the package weight and the billing information, which appears in the Bill To tab(s).

Detail Tab:
The Detail tab displays tracking information, package contents, and label comments.

For multi package shipments, StarShip displays package information for the current box. The First, Prev, Next, and Last buttons let you move through the packages one by one.

The List Packages button displays an Item List summary window consisting of Carrier, Service, Weight, Tracking #, COD and Insured Value.

Rate Shop
Depending upon the shipment information you enter, such as Zip Code and Package Weight, the Rate Shop feature shows you a comparison of rates by carrier and service. With FedEx, you can compare rates of various FedEx services using the Internet.

Bill Sender
Depending on the Package and Shipment options you selected, charges for freight options, or accessorial charges appear on the Bill Sender tab.

The Transit button allows the user to calculate UPS Time in Transit based on Origin ZIP code and Destination ZIP Code.

Use the Print button to print shipping labels.

Use the Delete button to delete the current package or the entire shipment.

The Repeat button allows you to add one or more packages to the shipment. Package features such as weight and dimensions are copied from the current package.

Use the Save button to complete the shipment. Data is stored - freight and tracking information are sent back to MAS90 or MAS200.

Shipment Options:
Shipment options apply to the whole shipment. They also include a Handling Fee, which is calculated by StarShip based on information you enter on this tab. You can set a default Handling Fee by typing it in and simply pressing Shift + F5.

Package Options:
Package options, such as COD, Additional Handling or Delivery Confirmation, are based on the currently selected carrier and service. StarShip also lists the option cost! Each option can have definable properties or fields where you can enter additional information. These options are defined at the package level.
